Community Ducor Telephone proudly helps sponsor community events, activities and partnerships.

		OPASTCO - In 1989, the Organization for the Promotion and Advancement of Small Telecommunications Companies created the Foundation for Rural Education and Development (FRED) to address the educational and developmental needs of rural areas. The Foundation's mission is to sponsor programs and activities that improve the educational, social and economic conditions of rural areas. FRED carries out this mission by raising funds to sponsor scholarships, awards and programs that directly benefit rural America.

		FREEDOM FAIR - Ducor Telephone Company takes pride in its involvement and support of the communities where its three exchanges are located. For several years, the company sponsored an annual Freedom Fair in Ducor which included a flag changing ceremony, entertainment, bounce houses for the kids, a food court, and booths for community groups to display their information. Now the annual events are planned and coordinated by the Community Boosters.
